8/20 Captain America

You know, I’ve got to say that I’m disappointed with this month’s Captain America. Is it too much that I was expecting a rock’em-sock’em battle between Bucky and….oh, I don’t know….anyone? And maybe, just maybe, Skull would have killed off Sin!?! Heaven onlyknows that she’s an annoying bitch of a character.

I’ve been so impressed with Captain America’s writing over the last 40 issues I just assumed it was, once again, going to be spectacular! I guess that’s what I get for assuming. Oh well. I guess we comic fans can’t have everything every time. It’s still a good book, don’t get me wrong. #41 was just more of a filler. A connection story,if you will. I’m sure next month’s Cap will be so fantastic that I find myself laying in a pool of my own drool on the bathroom floor, twitching like one of the 3 Stooges.
