BANKAI! Bleach Episode 246 Review
If you’ve been around me long enough, you’ll catch me once or twice say what some of my favorite Anime’s are. In this age where it seems Anime shows are short and sweet, you have those like One Piece, Naruto, and the one I’m reviewing today, Bleach, that go on for what seems like a lifetime. The only difference is that some like One Piece and Bleach that actually keeps it interesting going into the triple digit episodes. Lets play a little catch up with those who haven’t reached this arc yet. In this arc, the Soul Reapers (Shinigami) are forced to fight against their Zanpakutou’s physical forms. Muramasa, who has awaken the Zanpakutou’s from their owners swords and tells them to follow their “instincts” which leads to this big war in the soul society.
Episode 246 is within this arc but later in the fight after yet another battle breaks out between Shinigami and Zanpakutou. This time they are on a mission to rescue their Captain Commander Yamamoto from the Rebellious Zanpakutou who are holding him captive. In this episode, I would have to say the first part was kind of “eh”. Nothing too much was happening cause it was mostly them trying to figure out a plan. Then, it got kind of heavy when once again, the question is brought up WHY IN THE WORLD ARE WE PROTECTING A SHINIGAMI WHEN THATS WHO WE’RE FIGHTING. That kind of question, Second half picks up cause thats when the mission starts and you see some action, nothing too heavy but enough to take you into next episode with the question of what will happen next.
This episode did its job to progress the story a bit, but was a bit bland. Not a lot of moments that made me go “Oh Snap” or “Holy S%^#” but did its job. I would say to give it a look, and if you don’t survive the whole episode, I don’t blame you.

Ahhh yes.. But you know what everyone want’s to see and what everyone is waiting for? That is for Muramasa to meet Kenpachi and release his zanpakutou. Kenpachi knows nothing of his sword. And if he know a little something.. then… just wow… I was thinking that they would make kenpachi get lost again and therefore make him miss the chance to come across Muramasa. But his still in the game for now. We all hope to see that his zanpakutou can do.
dam it been on this long how many episodes they going for 1000 it would surprise me fi ichigo got married to a soulreaper sweet
D: I KNOW!!!!! was so waiting for shit to happen but it was like… naww we gonna set this shit up and 3 episodes from now ur gonna see sum action….. (T-T)
however this series is much MUCH better at avoiding those 10 episode flashback sets like naruto… at most its like 2 but this series also does a quite interesting thing in keeping itself on the air. by branching off into a new series of events before the current one is even finished. we still dont know WTF happened in Hueco Mundo =/
