Bleach 248 came out yesterday, and it took me till 3 in the morning to finally stop being lazy and watch it haha. On the other hand, I’m kinda glad I watched it. Even though I felt like falling asleep near end of the episode. Not a bad thing, I was just very tired. Anyways, this weeks episode focuses around the events of Muramasa revealing his ultimate plan. While we now find out the Shinigami have been left in a force field of fire that attacks if you try to escape. While I could go further and say more, I’ll leave it for the remainder of the review.

First off, If I haven’t said it before I’ll say it again. Muramasa is an a-hole, a very powerful a-hole that has trapped Ichigo and the others in this wall of fire as seen above. While this episode had filler written over most of it, there were two minor fights to hold you over till next episode. Of course Kenpachi fighting Tenken, and Haineko and Tobiume fighting Yoruichi, of course not before they exchange words about who’s hotter. But is was pretty much filler with a side of sub-par action.

I would say to watch this one when you’re bored if you want any real entertainment out of it. It has some fight scenes but it’s pretty much there to relay information that progressess the story.
I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars because we see shocking revelations about Muramasa’s master and his target. We see signs of Byakuya’s mistrust, and the first battle between the strongest ice type zanpakutou and fire zanpakutou.
