East Meets West: The 99 & JLA Mini-Series Announced!

Looks like DC Comics is really pushing bringing diversity while utilizing their rich history as the announcement of teaming up the Justice Leage of America with Islamic culture based super hero group The 99.


Those unfamiliar with The 99, like I was, is a set of Islamic cultured base heroes teamed up with each member powered by one of the 99 mystical Noor Stones. Set to pen the team-up is Azrael and former The 99 writer Fabian Nicieza. No artist has been announced nor any art has been released.
