Have You Heard: Hip Hop Edition

Now, this post really isn’t going to really introduce you to new artist, but it will introduce you to some new music and one trippy ass music video.

First up is the first real taste at Travis McCoy’s, Gym Class Heroes’ lead vocalist, solo work. For those of you who don’t know, Travis signed to Nappy Boy Entertainment (T-Pain’s Label) last year and for the past few months has been working on his solo project. So far, we have two songs from the untitled album and honestly, I am very impressed. I knew Travie was a talented MC when I first heard the Bernie Allen album he did and the first Gym Class Heroes CD …For The Kids.


The first single One At A Time can be checked out over at his Myspace (I know no one uses MySpace anymore).


The second is streaming over at MTV and can be checked out below. Both songs are available via iTunes right now.


The second video I want to share with you is the new Kid Cudi video for “Pursuit Of Happiness” featuring. MGMT & Ratatat. Recently, I have seen a resurgence in music videos that have been really grabbing my attention and I love it. So enjoy.
