In Brightest Day…

Well for those curious comic readers who were wondering what comes after the soul-reaping DC Comics event Blackest Night, now have their answer. Coming in April with issue #0, DC will be doing a 26 issue bi-weekly comic entitled Brightest Day. Written by the creative teams of Green Lantern (Geoff Johns) and Green Lantern Corps (Peter Tomasi) with no artistic team signed on yet, this series will be akin to the previous weekly attempts by DC (52 and Countdown). While no art team has been announced yet, we do know the #0 issue coming in April will be done by Fernando Pasarin (Outsiders and JSA). So grab onto your hats NK, DC has even more to announce this week.

*Update* Turns out this is a banner event for DC Comics as it was announced that multiple titles will sport the Brightest Day Banner. No surprise to some, the first announced title to carry the banner is none other than Geoff Johns’ Flash series starring the Barry Allen. More news as we get it.
