Before I could remember, I watched Star Wars. Before I was hardcore into video games, I liked Star Wars video games. Other than chess, Star Wars was my ‘gateway nerdom’ to bring me into the whole culture and many communities of nerds. Forever, I will be thankful for that. Another way that I admire different media is through visual art. Paintings, pictures, 3D rendering etc.
A while ago, I happened to come across an artist’s personal website that took my breath away. The artist’s name was Yanick Dusseault or Dusso. I’m having a lot of trouble finding information on the artist, but I was able to find his IMDB page. It didn’t have as much information on him as his personal website did. This year, he has worked on two of my favorite epic movies of the year: Star Trek and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
We are here for neither Star Trek nor Tranformers; we are here for Star Wars. Dossu worked on Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. He worked on some amazing pieces on the movie. Let’s stop the delay and jump into the artwork!
Okay, seriously; that piece is just gorgeous. All the art work with the cliff and the cloud and the sun straining through everything. Dossu also has a collection of pieces that are made for ‘3D’ viewing. Because of each one of them being four thousand pixels wide, I’m going to just post links for them. The first one is a view of Corrusant being mostly cloudy. This second one is Corrusant with no clouds in the sky, but the link to the full image isn’t working. This third one is Corrusant with a sunset.

Here are small pictures from the beginning of Episode III!
Concept art is high concept.
Saw these right before comic-con. Seriously some cool stuff.
Amazing. nuff said.
That’s when I found them Rhodes. I have been pushing the release for it for other stuff that I have found. Unfortunately, I’m all out of cool nerdy hidden internet shtuff.
Breath taking. Nuff’ said.
