Nerd Rage: The World Must Stop Paul W.S. Anderson

nerdragebannerjpg1
We all know how I feel about Paul W.S. Anderson and his take on bring Resident Evil to life on the big screen (Here and Here). I cannot WAIT for his last Resident Evil movie to come out so that the franchise can be rebooted and hopefully done right.

Today brings news that Mr. Anderson is trying to bring Konami’s Metal Gear Solid to life with the help of Columbia Pictures.

ShockTillYouDrop.com is reporting that Resident Evil: Afterlife producer Jeremy Bolt said that, “Paul W.S. Anderson is still circling video game adaptation Castlevania at Rogue Pictures and that they are waiting on a script.”

Later on Bolt said, “He and Anderson would like to adapt Konami’s Metal Gear Solid for the big screen at Columbia Pictures.”

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO! I swear to god if Paul W.S. Anderson has ANYTHING to do with a Metal Gear Solid movie I will loose it. This man has a knack for ruining video game adaptions. Don’t believe me then take a look at his list of “accomplishments.”

All movies rating courtesy of on Rotten Tomatoes
-Mortal Kombat – 24% Tomatometer
-Resident Evil – 34% Tomatometer
-Resident Evil: Apocalypse – 21% Tomatometer
-Resident Evil: Extinction – 23% Tomatometer

Paul W.S. Anderson has worn out his welcome in the video game world and needs to be stopped (IMO).
