New cast photos for The Last Airbender
Today saw the release of 4 new photos for the live action movie The Last Airbender. For those that didnt watch the hit Nickelodeon animated series, Avatar follows the adeventures of Aang, the latest avatar and last of the airbenders. In this fantasy world, there are 4 tribes and each tribe has certain people who can bend the elements. But there is one person in the world who can bend all the elements, and thats the Avatar. The one before Aang died before he could prevent the Fire Nation from taking over the world. Aang himself was frozen for 100 years, protected by the power within. Upon being released he finds out that he can still make new friends, that he is being hunted by the physically and emotionally scarred Prince Zuko, and the world needs to be saved.
Quite a lot ot take in for a 10 year old, isnt it? The movie, recently renamed to simply The Last Airbender to avoid confusion with James Cameron’s Avatar movie, will see release July 2, 2010.

Aang doesn’t look all fun and happy like in the cartoon.
Ang is an emo. This should be a good movie.
Bc maybe they’re all emo FLitz. This movie does look tight though. I can’t wait to see it.
