The Japanese never fail to wow us with their technological innovations. If you’re ever roaming around Toyko sometime in the future, then take a look at this fantastic color E-Book reader! The Flepia from Fujitsu has a screen of 8 inches and is capable of displaying 260,000 colors, including features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth capability(b and g bandwidth), a usb port and a touch screen that comes with a stylus. Hopefully the stylus is attached. Also, there is an on-screen keyboard that is included, unlike the Amazon Kindle that we have here in the states. The battery has a runtime of 40 hours of continuous use which is about 2,400 page turns. To store all of your e-books, it requires that you purchase an SD card from its online bookstore called Papylus. The operating system that comes installed is Windows CE 5. You can also check E-mail, surf the web and various other things. This device costs a pretty penny, In Japan you will need to save up about ¥99,750, which is just over $1,000 in the US. The Fujitsu Flepia drops on April 20th.
