Top Ten Badasses Of Cinema

I’m on a kick of top ten lists. Mostly because there is shit for news right now. So, I’m doing this while we wait for Comic-Con. Here are the the actors who made the most manly badass movies of all times. I’m all about explosions and titties and their movies always deliver both.

#10 Joe Pesci- In every mob movie, Joe Pesci always plays the crazy bastard who stabs people in the neck with pens because they insult his friend. He puts people’s heads in vices. He might do things that would make Hitler himself cringe.joe pesci

#9 Bruce Willis- Yippie Ky Ay Motherfucker. This is the ordinary man always in extraordinary situations. He doesn’t win because he’s some elite special forces soldier. No, my friends. He wins because he is a F***ING DIE HARD.johnmcclane

#8 Chuck Norris- Two words. Delta Force. Three more words Walker Texas Ranger. Four more words. Trained by Bruce Lee. The King of the Roundhouse Kick comes in at number 8.6a00d8341c630a53ef00e55262ce5e8833-800wi

#7 Bruce Lee- This is the one that is going to piss everyone off. Everyone is going to say, “BRUCE LEE SHOULD BE NUMBER ONE YOU ARE STUPID!!!!” Yes, he might have been able to beat the shit out of everyone else on the list but, he didn’t always have the most macho roles. I demand everyone of you watch Bruce’s fight with Chuck Norris in Way of the Dragon.Bruce_Lee_Biography_2

#6 Steven Segal- Under Seige. Under Seige 2. Hard to Kill. This guy kicked your ass and never even raised his voice. Always whispering. Now that’s badass.steven-seagal-2

#5 Charles Bronson- I’m going old school on you here. You need to see a little movie series called Death Wish. There are 5 of them. Some obviously better than others but all very good. And before that, he was in a little movie called Once Upon a Time in the West. And let’s not forget The Dirty Dozen. His on-screen characters were so masculine and macho, it was wondered if he could ever be a star in the United States. Turns out he could.bronsonrip

#4 Sylvester Stallone- John Rambo. Rocky Balboa. Those two names will be synonymous with being badass until the end of time. Rocky has been credited by many as the greatest underdog story ever told. That through will and determination you can overcome anything. That’s what Rocky did. Rambo just killed everything that moved and we loved him for it. Even in the last Rambo, when Sly was 60 years old, he was still kicking ass and taking names. Plus, he made a movie about arm wrestling. How f’n macho is that?rambo

#3 Arnold Schwarzenegger- Awnald comes in at numero 3. Most famous for the Terminator series, he had so many other kickass roles. Remember in Commando when he fireman carried a phone booth with a guy inside of it and flipped a car with his bare hands? Predator anyone? “If it bleeds, we can kill it.” “Kill me. Kill me now.” The Governator is a badass.00007604_

#2 Clint Eastwood- This is where is gets tough for me. I love number 1 and 2 so much that I hate to put one ahead of the other but that’s my job. So, here we go with Clint. This is “The Man With No Name” we are talking about here, the star of “The Dollars Trilogy”. This is Dirty Harry Callahan himself. Fisfull of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, The Good The Bad and The Ugly, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Hang em’ High, High Plains Drifter, Pale Rider and Unforgiven are just a few movies that made him badass. And he’s still kicking ass. Did you all see Gran Torino? Badass.clintEastwood_CE1B2

#1 John Wayne- The Duke. The man they named cheap toilet after. He was rough, tough, and didn’t take shit off of anybody. While being most famous for cowboy movies, he also made some very famous war movies. One of them, The Green Berets, was the only movie about Vietnam that was actually made during Vietnam. The audience always knew John Wayne was the toughest son of a bitch on the Earth when he arrived in the movie because of the way he walked and talked. He oozes masculinity. People knew you didn’t F*** with Big Bad John. Some of my favorite movies of his are Rio Bravo, El Dorado, Big Jake, True Grit, Rooster Cogburn, The Searchers, and McLintock. I could go on but I hope you get the idea here. John Wayne won the top spot because he was the original movie badass. He was the first actor to only play tough guys. He is the granddaddy of them all. Hell, he’s so badass I named my dog Duke in his honor. John Wayne. American Icon.john-wayne

Damn good list. Although I would’ve had Bruce Willis in the top 5 everything fits well.

  2. Josh "Buddhapunch" Pacheco says:

You are right, Bruce Lee SHOULD BE #1 ON THIS LIST. Pee Wee Herman is more badass compared to Steven Segal

  3. DTrent says:

Does Tommy Lee Jones count as a BadA$$? His character in U.S. Marshalls and The Fugitive seemed like it to me. NOBODY messed with The Big Dog!
I think your list is excellent tho!

  4. Drew "ViggoTheCarp" Bergmark says:

I’m surprised Clint Eastwood wasn’t number 1. I am thankful to have a good list though. Great job Roger.

  5. Ninja Arashi says:

John Wayne at the top was an welcomed surprise. I grew up on his and Clint Eastwood’s movies and totally agree with him being up there. There are a few change ups I would put in there, but this list is really good.

  6. Bruce Lee should be AT LEAST ahead of Segal. Crazy ass kung-fu > clubbing baby seals. Eastwood and Wayne are good for the top 2 though.

  7. Rob "HollywoodRS" Sporer says:

    No Van Damn?

  8. Pedro Moreno says:

Wow Wow it’s a cool list about the hardest movies guy

  9. Eric says:

John wanye and clint deserve there place but joe Pesci and bruce lee deserved way better that what you gave them.
Steven Segal is a bitch in real life.

  10. Dane Kelley says:

I don’t like Wayne #1, since he’s a B-Movie star at best. Eastwood is great there, though.
Disappointed that you have Seagal on there at all instead of someone like Jason Statham or Brad Pitt, but to each his own.

  11. Drew "ViggoTheCarp" Bergmark says:

Question: Where is Bruce Campbell? He was a normal guy that got pushed into a weird situation and forced to kick ass. AND HE DID THAT! Evil Dead FTW

  12. Roger Gaw says:

Jason Statham would have made the list if he had a few more movies under his belt and van damme is French.

  13. Dane Kelley says:

Statham is the definitive badass in cinema currently.
