Venture Bros Venturing To The Big Screen

By a show of hands how many of you like The Venture Bros? Okay now how many of you would like to see a live action Venture Bros movie? Well you can put your hands down because it is happening. Seems like the folk’s behind Adult Swim and the upcoming Johnny Quest (thinks were sell outs) want to bring the Venture clan to life. Hit the jump to find out more.

The film will take parts from all three seasons of the cartoon and make one kick ass movie. Now New York City and upstate will mostly be the prime location, but as you know team Venture likes to travel so either green screen or sets will be used for some of the more exotic locations.

As for cast well Patrick Warburton will be playing the real version of Brock Samson (he voices him) and James Urbaniak as Dr. Venture (again voice actor playing the cartoon character). However it seems like the roles of Hank and Dean Venture are still being cast (open casting call is still going on so I might up on that). Dr. Girlfriend might be played by Parker Posey and no word yet on who will be donning the wings of The Monarch.

I have high hopes for this because I love The Venture Bros cartoon and think a real life version will kick ass.
